Handover of a car to members of the fire department

A while ago we drove a car to Kharkiv. When we deliver a car, it is first given a thorough inspection there and any extra maintenance is carried out. After that, the best destination at that moment is sought. Often that turns out to be the emergency services, because they frequently lose vehicles and equipment to double-tap strikes by Russian troops. That is why another car has now been handed over to the Kharkiv fire department.

handover of first aid kits to an aid organisation in Kyiv

Our first fundraising campaign for first aid kits for Ukraine has closed, and it went far beyond what we had hoped for. Instead of 20 first aid kits, we can now bring 40 to Ukraine.

The first 26 have already arrived. Among others, they were handed over to an aid organisation that helps build homes for people in Kherson who have lost everything. Their work puts them at such risk that >

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed.

Donated Mercedes in Kyiv

Last week we brought three cars with relief supplies to Ukraine. One of the three cars was a donated Mercedes station wagon. We also took 26 first-aid kits with us, which we were able to purchase thanks to our first donation campaign with a specific goal. The four volunteers who delivered them are safely back home.

Thanks to everyone who helped! For the car, the donations of relief supplies and IT equipment, and for the many financial donations we received. It is heartwarming how many people remain involved in the aid to Ukraine. The next transport will leave soon!

Vehicle carrying, among other things, a first aid case that Aid to Ukraine brought to Ukraine, also seen in an NOS news report

Aid to Ukraine, not yet a foundation at the time, came into being the day after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. It started as a group of friends who wanted to help. Since then, thanks in no small part to the tremendous support of Almeva, supplier of first aid and medical materials and Bas4Cars, The Dutch Land Rover specialist, we have delivered more than 250 vehicles, each carrying as many medical supplies as would fit. The photo above shows a first aid case we brought over in 2023, which can also be seen in a report made by Kysia Hekster for the Dutch public broadcaster NOS.
